SM Prime Holdings started committing to sustainable operations with their "SM Green Movement" initiatives over a decade ago, aiming to create a positive environmental footprint while ensuring sustained economic growth. SM City North Edsa was among the first one to illustrate this by installing solar PV panels which became the largest solar energy installation in Southeast Asia at the time.
