JOB SUMMARY:
The Permit and Regulatory Officer is responsible for managing the preparation, submission, and monitoring of permits and licenses required for UGEP’s operations and projects. This role involves close coordination with internal teams and government agencies to ensure timely and compliant processing. This role also handles the consolidation of documentary requirements and liaises directly with stakeholders to clarify regulatory needs and ensure smooth application workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and prepare all necessary documents for the application and renewal of permits and licenses required for UGEP operations.
- Assist in securing permits and licenses for UGEP projects by coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with various government agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, submit, and monitor permit and license applications to LGUs, DUs, government offices, and other relevant entities.
- Consolidate documentary requirements for permit and license applications through close coordination with the operations team, project development team, and office administrator.
- Clarify permit and license requirements directly with clients, LGUs, DUs, and government agencies to ensure accuracy and completeness of submissions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management, Environmental Science or Environmental Management, Engineering, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in permitting, licensing, or regulatory compliance within the real estate, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience coordinating with government agencies and handling regulatory documentation is an advantage.
- Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with project tracking tools is a plus.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Willing to travel and conduct fieldwork as required.
