We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Construction Management Associate to join our growing team. The Construction Management Associate is an integral part of our Construction Management team. Responsibilities
- Under supervision, observes the work of contractors involved in the construction of projects and performs quality assurance (QA) activities. (ONSITE)
- Frequently communicates with client representatives, contractors, and regulatory agency personnel to coordinate efforts. (ONSITE/OFFICE)
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks, as well as advise internal project manager and/or owner of any failures or delays. (OFFICE)
- Coordinates operation within organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures. (OFFICE)
- Must have good computer skills and be able to utilize standard office software. (OFFICE)
- Performs other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary. (OFFICE)
- Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities. (OFFICE)
- Monitor and track project progress against the plan and identify any potential delays or issues. (OFFICE)
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. (OFFICE)
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Provide administrative support to the Construction Manager, handling tasks like scheduling meetings, organizing paperwork, and preparing presentations.
- Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Document project activities and decisions accurately and concisely. (ONSITE)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, must be Registered Electrical Engineer, ECE, IE, CE or a related field (preferred).
- Good mathematical, computer, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Ability to process paper and electronic documents and utilize computer.
- Ability to walk long distances, climb ladders, stoop, squat and crawl to inspect work; ability to observe construction activities and distinguish colors; and ability to perceive back-up alarms and other warnings.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions, subject to insects, flooded terrain, equipment/traffic, and other hazards.
- Position may require nonstandard work shifts, such as long hours, weekends, or nights as per client and/or manager’s direction.
- AutoCad Intermediate (2D/3D)
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Proficient in project management software and construction tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
